Chalk Mountain Women's Golf Club

The Chalk Mountain Women's Golf Club held the final matches for the President's Cup and the Vice-President's Cup on February 28, 2008. The matches were held over a 6 weeks period and contested by 16 teams. The competitors in the final pairings were Martha Brownson vs. Julie Conner in the President's Cup and Barbara King vs. Kathy Litten in the Vice President's Cup.

Martha Brownson won the President's Cup and the Vice President's Cup was won by Barbara King. These ladies are no rookies in this game, they are both 80 something years young!

Congratulations to Martha Brownson the 2008 Chalk Mountain Ladies Club President's Cup winner. Martha displayed consistent performance throughout this tournament, using her awesome playing ability to sideline her competitors one by one.

And of course, Barbara King is no stranger to this game, as she truly has a love for the competition and inspires us all. Congratulations to Barbara for winning this year's Vice-President's Division -- most definitely a competitor to be dealt with.
